Steel Darts - New Brand Alert!

It's always fun finding a new brand, something that hasn't reached the point of commercialism and still remains true to creating gear that's meant to express yourself. I ran across Steel Darts the other day, no ninja weapons here, just dope ass fitteds and hats. From what I've seen thus far the brand is a premium label based on future retroism, a design philosophy based on mixing and remixing an old style with new application and techniques. I would definitely cop the lighting fitted above asap. I've also noticed that each fitted has a metal dart logo, which creates a pretty exclusive touch. Not really a fedora person, but damn, the detail of these hats are something serious. The brand clearly prides itself on attention to detail, bold design and fine tailored fabric. I'm sure we'll be seeing this brand around a lot more, teleport for the Fall 09 look book and as they say, "Stay On Point"

Here are a few terms we actively use in our blog. We want to make sure our readers understand our slang, it just makes the experience more enjoyable.

Alias - new term created by Vizion, it's a descriptive word for anything low key and out of normal human site. You'd want your smoke spot to be alias.

Cise - when someone does more than expected and hooks you up. For example you're cised when instead of a mere handshake hello, your homie gives you $1000 as his way of saying hello. You got cised!

Crack - Not as controversial as it sounds, we use "crack' to describe something that is just out of this world fresh. We may say something like: That new EF post is CRACK!!

Dope - We use this quite a bit when talking about a product or movie, it's just another word for cool

Fux With It - We use this when referencing something we really like. If your in Stussy or CmonWealth and you see a crack pair of kicks you'd say: "oh these are crack, I fux with them"!

Huff - use this when you talk about something WACK...Like if you see dude rocking some Kool-aid Reeboks, you'd say "damn, his shoe game is HUFF" you can also use the term to describe when you get carried. So if you're talking to a shorty, and you ask for her number, she looks you up and down, blinks 3 times and walks away...you got HUFFED!

OD - This term stands for "Over Dose". It means when something is crazy wild in a good way, or too extra in a bad way. Walking down the DC streets wearing Teva sandals, socks, and shorts in the winter time is OD! In the same respect, the new Mercedes Benz C63AMG is OD!

Rastio Lyool - A close friend to the EF family. Originally from Africa Rastio migrated from Jamaica to Brooklyn, NY. He played a large role in the "eh doesn't affect me" movement of the 90's. Rastio is like Tommy off Martin, ya digg.

Teleport - This converts a person or object into an energy pattern (a process called dematerialization), then "teleports" it to a target, where it is reconverted into matter (rematerialization)...in short it lets you read the full post

Went In - When a rapper shows extreme lyrical ability in a verse or whole track.
